Guatemala with Common Hope, 2016

It was another beautiful trip to Guatemala this year with Common Hope! We worked in the clinics at both Familias De Esperanza in Antigua, and also in the town of San Rafael. We visited our sponsor kids, spent time at a women’s weaving co-op, part of our team helped build a house, and part of the team spent time with Felix on his coffee farm. We are continually blessed year after year to be involved with such an incredible organization in such an incredible country.

Thanks Dr Sarah Gallagher, Theresa, Diane, Chelsea, Beth , Danny, John, and Richard for all sharing your time, your talents, and your hearts. And special thanks to my Sr. Jeffe Greg Scherer, who opened my heart to Common Hope 7 years ago.

For those who don’t know, Common Hope “promotes hope and opportunity in Guatemala, partnering with children, families, and communities who want to participate in a process of development to improve their lives through education, health care, and housing.”

Please enjoy these pictures of our time spent down there this year!

P.S Thanks to Dr Steve Stephen Humbert for sharing his handpieces once again, and thanks to Danell Gibbins for sharing her Jellycat love with these kids!!!
